Dog Rock Motel

My wife and I stayed at the Dog Rick motel for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was fantastic and outstandingly clean, staff were extremely friendly and welcoming for the very first moment we arrived. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Motel is within walking distance from the city. I highly recommend the motel if you want a nice place to stay and enjoy

Rooms were a little 1970s motel feeling, but they were atleast clean with decent beds and the rooms themselves felt pretty safe. Overall pretty nice

Great geography lesson for children

We were lucky to be upgraded, thankyou. The room was a bit dated in the decor but the bed was huge and comfy. Quieter than I thought it would be as solid walls. Staff are top draw, we left a couple of items of clothing behind but the staff agreed to post us our clothes so we thankyou.

Lovely place. Comfortable bed, good hot shower, clean, had everything we need. Friendly staff. fantastic location. The restaurant was top notch 10 out of 10 Will be back .

Great room, comfortable and clean. TV and plenty of channels. Balcony with table to eat and look out from. Shower was nicely done but no water pressure really.

Loved our stay, beds were super comfy and the curtains keep out the light and noise. Location is super close to town and the staff are friendly too!

Room itself and facilities very good but stay totally spoilt by family in next room who had no control of children who screamed for hours and were allowed to despite us going to complain twice and security having to come out. Insufficient insulation.

Recently I had to stay here for a few weeks while I was working. I just wanted to say thanks to both Sandy and the owners (whose names I did not get) for the outstanding service they provided. The hotel was excellent too. Nice clean modern refurbished rooms with spacious queen size beds. Location was perfect too, walking distance to Albany CBD, Woolworths was right next door plus it was all next to the best thing about Albany, the Dog Rock! There was also a 24 hour coin laundry on site. The only downside I found was there was no cooking facilities or cutlery in the room, just a bar fridge (and a kettle I think). I found a microwave oven in the coin laundry however it would have been nice to have the option to be able cook something in the room being as I stayed there for 3 weeks. Aside from that, I couldn't think of anywhere better to stay at in Albany. As I said to one of the owners the morning of my final checkout, I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Albany!Oh, and if you're ever here, I definitely recommend dining at Limes. Our team dined at Limes several times during our tenure and we all found the service and food to be top class all the way.

Comfortable clean rooms & very friendly staff. The restaurant served the most divine dinners I have experienced in a very long time. The sticky pork followed by the sticky fig and ginger pudding were absolutely delicious!
